BIO
Hello! I'm Stella, an Australian copyeditor, content writer and proofreader based on the South Coast of NSW.

As a kid, I devoured books, reading anywhere and everywhere, from the car to the dinner table. That obsession for stories soon grew into a fascination with the quirks of the English language itself. My dad had a big part to play in that — a trilingual word nerd who had me hooked on crosswords, anagrams and Scrabble by the time I started high school.

After working for 15 years in the corporate world, away from my creative roots, I felt it was time to follow my true passion and go solo. Since then, I've had wonderful opportunities to collaborate with people and businesses around the world on all kinds of writing projects.

Words have the power to inspire and create change. For this reason, I'm especially drawn to topics such as holistic health and well-being, spirituality and the natural world.
As the daughter of Vietnamese refugees, I deeply respect the sacrifices my parents made for a better life. Their resilience inspires me to work hard every day. I'm grateful to call Australia home, where I live with my husband and two fur kids. Sadly, my dad didn't make it to his 60th birthday — but if we could sit down for a game of Scrabble today, I've no doubt he'd still whoop my butt.
